This painting reveals the subtle boundary between figuration and abstraction, characteristic of contemporary expressive painting. The composition seems to have human silhouettes, but they are deliberately fragmented, dissolved in the painting material, thus denying a clear individual identity. The figures become not portraits, but states – emotional, existential traces.

The color scheme is restrained, dominated by gray, brown, graphite tones, which create a mood of waiting, transition or history. These shades are reminiscent of the natural processes of decay, time and memory. White, lighter spots act as pauses of silence or emptiness, allowing the eye to rest and at the same time enhancing the contrast with darker, heavier areas.

Texture and flow play a special role – paint drips, overlapping layers, uneven surfaces. They give the work a physical, almost tactile aspect and emphasize the process of painting. It is not a static image, but rather a trace of an event, in which the painting gesture itself is important.
