„Užutėkis“ – is a pictorial space in which fragments of reality intertwine with layers of memory and intuition. The arch motifs recognizable in the composition act as symbols of transition – between light and shadow, presence and disappearance, past and present. They are not architecturally precise, but rather dissolved in the pictorial layers, as if seen through a haze or an inner gaze. This is not a specific image, but a state – a retreat as a place of peace, but also melancholy, where one stops between movement and silence. “Retreat” becomes a metaphor – a hiding place from noise, a place for reflection, where architecture turns into a feeling, and the landscape into a memory.
