Painting is philosophy. The vision has developed in my new canvas “The Citadel”. It is a monumental, time-worn architectural form emerging from the mist, balancing between reality and vision. To me, these forms seem to be filled with organic, quietly breathing living energy. This vision is close to the reflections of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of the novel “The Citadel”, in which the citadel is perceived as a symbol of inner order, responsibility and spiritual support. The dynamically flowing layers of paint are like signs of the trajectory of thinking, time and experience, testifying to the constant creation and preservation of oneself.
