In the painting “Security”, oil painting became a metaphorical space for me, in which the archaic form of the house acquired a symbolic, almost sacred meaning. The glowing silhouette of warm yellowish tones contrasts with a darker, layered background, permeated with leaks and signs of time. The small, rhythmic signs of light that structure the interior of the house resemble windows or a pulse – signs of life, presence and protection. The painterly texture, freely flowing paint and subtle dissonance of colors create a tension between fragility and stability, allowing us to perceive security not as an absolute state, but as a constantly created, inner refuge.
