“Subtle Regularity” is my story about the harmony hidden in a constantly changing world. The harmony of soft pinks, grays and earth tones gives rise to fragile structures reminiscent of fragments of a city, memory or inner states. Vertical strokes and flowing traces of paint express a sense of the flow of time, in which each sign has its place and meaning. With the painting I invite you to look at the connections between what is seen and what is felt, between chaos and harmony. It is a meditation on the invisible laws that silently shape our experiences and the direction of our lives.
